An interesting Canadian vodka that I found in my local liquor store the other day, next to the Absolut. I was quite excited when I came across it during a Killian's run, as I love vodka, and I love spicy food.

It basically seems to be just a jug of vodka, with a couple jalapeno peppers floating in it. I'm not sure if any peppers were involved in the distilling process, or if they were just thrown in afterwards. I'm thinking the latter is most likely.

I was, however, a bit disappointed with it when I took it home and tried some. It has kind of a nice flavor to it, but it's not nearly as hot as I was hoping. It does give you a nice warm and cozy feeling in your belly for 20 minutes or so, but it lacks the endorphin rush that you get from really good hot sauce. I'm thinking of getting some habanero pepper extract, and putting a bit in the bottle, which should boost the heat quite a bit.

The thing that really excites me about it, though, is the peppers. When I finish the vodka, I'll have to come up with a nice dish to cook up with them, which should be quite tasty.
