The International Metalworkers' Federation or IMF is the global union federation representing workers in the steel, non-ferrous metals and ore mining, mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, automobile, aerospace, electrical and electronics industries. The federation currently has 207 affiliated unions in 99 countries representing 25 million members.

The IMF is one of the oldest global union federations trace its origins back to the International Bureau of Metalworkers' Unions established at Zurich in 1893. This later led to the the creation of the IMF itself at a congress held in Amsterdam in 1904.

The IMF is heavily involved in the organisation of World Company Councils, that bring together workers from the same company employed in different countries.
