This list is intended as a reference for people who are confused by the name changes car models sometimes undergo when exported. This is usually due to the tastes of the market in question -- Americans want cars that sound cool and dynamic, or at best some meaningless letters and numbers (Altima and Maxima, for example, sounding like "ultimate" and "maximum", or Lexus LS430), not girls' names or strange words (such as Gloria, Silvia, Cima) or the like. As a result, nobody knows quite what's what anymore.
