Skatepunk band from the 1980s. Stands for Jodie Foster's Army, a reference both to would-be Presidential assassin John W. Hinckley, Jr. and band member Brian Brannon's crush on the winsome young actress. JFA has recently begun touring and recording again. Their official Website is at:

Also a skateboard company by the same name by the same people. It was most noted for the Assassin decks's artwork which featured a crosshair superimposed over a picture of Ronald Reagan. The skateboard part piddled out as a result of the declining popularity of the band it was named after, their apparent reluctance to yield to new directions within skating (ie. making boards that were intended largely for pools and large ramps), and the really bad idea of making paisley central to design schemes.
