Manneken Pis in
Brussels, on the other side of the
Grand'Place, on a dead end street across the
Petite Rue Des Bouchers, Janneke Pis is the statue of a little GIRL peeing. It is said that you will find true love if you throw a coin into her fountain.
The statue was put there in 1987, basically to attract extra
tourists to the
Petite Rue Des Bouchers, but it is still cute. In the
Brussels Free University's Polytechnic school, freshman students have to compose a
poem about her.
