A science fiction writer well know in both Feminist Science Fiction and New Wave Science Fiction. She was born 1937. She makes her home in Tucson, Arizona. Her work has been reprinted in English and translated into French, German, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Danish, Spanish, Catalán, and Finnish.
