A popular
aquarium in
Chicago, and a good place to
take your kids when you visit the city. I don't remember much of the aquarium itself, but I remember that one
gallery had a
life-size model of a
giant squid hanging from the ceiling. That's
reason enough to go right there.
A perusal of their web site at www.sheddnet.org also mentions exhibits on the carribian reef, the pacific northwest seacoast, the world's largest collection of sea horses, and a few species of the ever-popular penguins.
