Juniper Stallion is a joint US/Israel live ammunition military exercise. Juniper Stallion 2000 took place from March 19-26, involving Navy SEALs and the aircraft carrier battle group USS Eisenhower. US aircraft dropped live bombs at two desert ranges in Israel, substituting for the usual practice range of Vieques Island in Puerto Rico. The main USAF unit involved in the exercise was the Germany-based 22nd Fighter Squadron.
