Toy company founded in 1946 by brothers Philip, Joseph and Albert Steiner. It was named for the street in Cincinnati, Ohio that was home to their first office. Famous Kenner products included the Easy Bake Oven, Spirograph, Care Bears stuffed animals, and the original Star Wars action figures.

Kenner merged with Rainbow Crafts, the maker of Play-Doh, in 1971. The company was later owned by General Mills, then Tonka, which was bought by Hasbro in 1991. Hasbro retired the Kenner brand name in 1999 and merged the toys into its other brands.
