The Kingdom of the Middle (aka The
Midrealm,
The Middle Kingdom) is the third oldest
kingdom in the
SCA. They became a kingdom in 1969. It is bounded on the west by
Artemesia, on the west and north by
An Tir, on the east by
the East and
Aethelmearc, the southeast by
Atlantia, the south by
Meridies, and the southwest by
Calontir.
In modern terms, it comprises the (USA) states of Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and a tiny bit of Iowa, and the (Canadian) province of Manitoba.
