Puffed
balls of
corn cereal made by
General Mills. They claim that they take the
sweet part of corn and put it on the
outside. This means they
extract the
corn syrup (
fructose) and use it to
glaze the little
poofs.
They say it is "Kid tested, mother approved" in their marketing drivel.
The only problem I have with them is that they are remarkably buoyant. If you pour milk into a bowl of Kix, all you will succeed in doing is floating all the Kix over the edge of the bowl and making a mess.
