I occasionally suffer from this, it's really not very nice...

Description:
When the labyrinth within the inner ear becomes inflamed or dysfunctional, you are no longer able to correctly judge your movements or estimate your position. This leads to over estimating, or under estimating your movements, resulting in the illusion that the room around you is constantly spinning.

This usually occurs more frequently (but is not limited) to people who have hearing deficiencies, and is triggered by an imbalance in the middle ear due to bacteria or viral activity.

Symptoms:
Severe dizziness or vertigo, motion sickness, headache and I've also been known to vomit.

Duration:
It can last from anything up to a couple of days to a few weeks.

Remedy:
The sensation of vertigo can not be remedied, you just have to sit it out. However there are drugs on the market to help alleviate the vomiting.
