Class AAA farm team of the Los Angeles Dodgers, in Las Vegas, NV. The 51s play their home games in Cashman Field. They compete in the Southern Division of the Pacific Coast League.

The team was founded in 1919 in Portland, OR. In 1973 they moved to Spokane, WA, where it played for 9 years. In 1982 the team became part of the Pacific Coast League and was redubbed the Stars, a San Diego Padres affiliate. In 2001 the team became an affiliate of the Dodgers. With the change of affiliations came a name change. The Stars became the 51s, named after Area 51, an Air Force base and nuclear test site north of Las Vegas that is purported to house frozen extraterrestrial visitors. The team's mascot is a big gray alien.

Games are broadcast on KBAD 920-AM.
