This is one of the third book in the Red Dwarf series. The two writers of Red Dwarf decided to each write the third book in the series of novels. They both follow on from Better Than Life. This was written by Doug Naylor.
I don't want to give the plot away, so I won't describe the book in too much detail. It is about Parallel Universes, GELFS and Rimmer's son. If you enjoyed the TV series don't expect this to be the same, it isn't. It also has Kochanski as a main character.
The book released by Rob Grant at about the same time as this was called Backwards. The two books show the contrasting styles of the two writers.
