A small band formed in
Tidewater, VA. The original band had five members.
Their first album was A Mother's Nightmare, released in 1990 by Cellar Door Records. Their distinctive sound gave them a small but loyal following. Five years later, they added two more members.

Presumably Dave replaced Rick. Their second album was
All Fired Up, and released in 1995 on
Ryllo Records. This album was not as well received as their first.
They played their final show as LWF in 1997 at the Boathouse in Norfolk, VA. Also playing at that show were Bonewall and Tommy and the Rumblers.
Big Al Staggs now sings for a different band called The Moaning Lisas.
