Born in Okinawa, Japan and raised in Bellevue, Nebraska, she studied acting in New York after finishing high school.
Plays guitar and sings in The Murmurs along with Heather Grody.
She appeared in Fine Line's All Over Me and is currently dating k.d. lang.
