Lily Rowan is the sort-of
girlfriend of
Archie Goodwin, of
Nero Wolfe fame. (See novels by

She is a wealthy, stylish 1930's chick who likes bullfighting and going out dancing. Lily is the only one of Archie's many female friends who is really a match for him.
Gorgonzola reminds me that her nickname for Archie is Escamillo--this is because the first time they met (in the novel Some Buried Caesar) he was escaping from a bull.
