A Swedish flag is what I wish,
To fly high above all others.
Glory served on a golden dish,
To my sisters and my brothers.
May Germans rot in an abyss,
Alongside those darn Japanese.
May our missiles not miss,
If they won’t surrender in peace.
Love thy enemy can’t describe,
This love to kill and decimate.
I could not possibly prescribe,
To the fatal death blow of fate.
For the only country I know,
Who peacefully loves all worldwide.
So how ‘bout you just up and go,
May Sweden rule all at high tide.

If we Swedish have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended—
That you have but slumbered here
While these words did appear.
And this weak and idle theme,
No more yielding but a dream,
Gentles, do not reprehend.
If you pardon, we will mend.
And, as I am an honest Swede,
If we have an unearned deed
Now to 'scape the serpent's tongue,
We will make amends ere long.
Else the Swede a liar call.
So good night unto you all.
Give me your hands if we be friends,
And Sweden shall restore amends.
