Saint-Just, Antoine Louis Leon Florelle de, a French revolutionist; born in 1767. He adopted with enthusiasm the principles of the Revolution, became the right hand of Robespierre, and was one of the most energetic and resolute members of the Mountain party. He fell with Robespierre through the events of the 9th Thermidor (July 27, 1794), and perished on the scaffold with him on the following day, July 28, 1794.
