Luanne Platter

She is Peggy Hill's 19-year-old niece. She used to live with the Hills, much to Hank Hill's dismay, but she has since moved to a house across the street. Before living with the Hills, she lived with her parents (her father is Peggy's brother), but had to move out after the trailer turned over and her mother was jailed for attacking her father.

She used to be a lackluster beauty academy student, but now attends a community college. She also is very good at automobile repair.

She has blonde Texas big hair, and dresses rather provocatively. In spite of her somewhat trampy appearance, she's really a rather naive young woman.

One of Mike Judge's many inside jokes aimed at his fellow Texans. A Lu Ann Platter is actually a small/budget sized meal available at your local Luby's Cafeteria. Much of the humor in King of the Hill is aimed at Texans or the Texas Experience. So much so, in fact, that I am surprised that King of the Hill is as popular as it is.
