Lysator is an academic computer society at Linköpings tekniska högskola that started it's days in 1972 with an old datasaab. Well-known Lysator spawn-offs is the Lys-16 and LysKOM. Most people that studied at Lysator University has reached a hacker status.
The first web-server (http) in northern europe was started at Lysator, and was the seed of Roxen.
