The Madagascar Plan was developed by the Nazis before World War II as an answer to "The Jewish Question" in Europe. The plan was to ship all the Jews, Gypsies and other targeted groups to Madagascar and forget about them. This idea was abandonded later, partially due to the Allied domination of the seas and the incredible number of resourses needed to build, fuel and maintain transports. The local Madagascar Government knew nothing of the plan.
