Term to describe the sleeping position of a couple when both are facing the same direction, close together with their legs slightly bent. Normally the bottom of the person in front is resting against the stomach of the person behind. Often most comfortable with the person behind having wrapped their arm around the waist of the person in front with their other arm under the person in fronts head or neck.

Very close, very safe and the nicest way to fall asleep imaginable.

It's called making spoons because of the similarity with two spoons placed together, both facing the same direction.
