Malaysian Education

Malaysian Education system is quite similar to the education system of UK.

• Primary Schools from standard 1 to standard 6, with UPSR examination in standard 5.
• Lower Secondary Schools from form 1 to form 3 with PMR examination in form 3.
• Upper Secondary Schools from form 4 to form 5 with SPM examination in form 5. Many students would go directly into Universities' matriculation course after SPM that is equivalent to O level.
• Form 6 is in two years, lower six form and upper six form, with STPM examination in the latter. STPM is equivalent to A level
• Universities and Colleges for diploma, degree, master and doctorate courses.
