A School of the Americas success story. He rose from the ranks of the military to become dictator of Panama, until he ran afoul of the United States government by not following marching orders. The US invaded Panama and flushed Noriega out of his bunker by bombarding him with
topical pop music - e.g. "I Fought the Law (and the Law Won)" - until his surrender. His stateside 1990 trial was a farce, with "informants" paid to "tell all" about his ties to Colombian drug lords. The Law won.
