While he's most famous for playing
Luke Skywalker and Christopher Blair in
Wing Commander III, IV, and Prophecy, Hamill shines most brightly as a voice actor. He has provided voices for
Batman: The Animated Series (the Joker), and The
Powerpuff Girls (the Evil Cat). He has also done voice acting for computer games, including Adrian Ripburger and two other voices for
Full Throttle and one for
Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers. None of these voices sound like any of the others, and none of them sound like Mark Hamill. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Ripburger was his best work ever - oily, strangely charismatic, and evil to the core.
He will do a voice for the upcoming American release of Laputa: Castle in the Sky. Once again, he is doing the villain.
