MAW is shortform of Masters At Work, house producer / dj duo from New York, namely Louie Vega and Kenny Gonzales. Also name of their own record label. Masters At Work are celebrating this year their tenth year in music business (1990-2000). Name Masters At Work was originally used by Todd Terry, another house fellow.

Glaswegian word for "mother". Commonly heard in the phrase "yer maw".
