Meal Worms (Tenebrio Molitor)

This is a small black beetle of approximately 6mm in length. The name meal worm is derived from the length of the larvae which are noticeably longer than other larvae. Larvae are found near musty grain and flour and are particularly prevalent in poultry houses due to the damp, humid conditions found in these buildings.
