Written by Eubie Blake and Andy Razaf, Memories of You is considered to be a jazz standard. The phrasing is great, and leads to good expression. It has great chord progressions. Probably the two most famous performances of this song were made by Benny Goodman and Louis Armstrong. It is arguably Benny Goodman's most famous song, with an awesome clarinet solo.

And if you're not quite of the musical type, the lyrics carry some pretty deep meaning too. It's a song heavy with nostalgia.

Waking skies
  at sunrise
Every sunset too
Seems to be
  bringing me
Memories of you

Here and there
  every where
Scenes that we once knew
And they all
  just recall
Memories of you

How I wish I could forget those
  happy yesteryears
That have left a rosary of tears

Your face beams
  in my dreams
Spite of all I do
Everything
  seems to bring
Memories of you

By my calculations, the Louis Armstrong recording is in 4/4 time, with a tempo of 96 quarters per minute. Oddly for a jazz song, beats 1 and 3 seem to be emphasized. This recording is 3 minutes and 30 seconds long, with a good balance of Louis's trumpet and vocals, with a decent orchestra backing him up.
