Dutch painter inspired greatly by Salvador Dali. Has excellent fluid strokes, with oil paint on wood, given greatly to symbolism which I doubt comes from dreams. So I would be hard pressed to call him a surrealist. Many tigers, ballet dancers and jugglers, with windows into Dali backgrounds. And don't forget the ribbons and tight ropes. If you can, look up a piece of his called 'Stalker'.
