Republican Senator from Idaho

Mike Crapo graduated from Brigham Young University in 1973 with a B.A. in political science, followed by his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1977. He was a partner in the law firm of Holden, Kidwell, Hahn & Crapo prior to entering Congress.

Senator Crapo served six years as Idaho's 2nd District Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives and eight years in the Idaho State Senate before coming to the U.S. Senate. He is in his first senate term, and he has been made a Deputy Republican Whip.
