The Miller Effect is a naturally occurring feedback capacitance in transistor and vacuum tube based electronic circuits. The Miller Effect generally decreases amplifier responses at high frequency, so much effort has been exerted in finding ways to avoid the Miller Effect. Extra electrodes were added to vacuum tubes to minimize the effect. Other than adding extra parts to the devices other methods have been devised in the design of the actual circuit that will counteract the Miller Effect.
