This is the nebula where lost mittens are both conceived, and where they return whenever they happen to disappear from your local segment of the universe or the blogosphere. As if everybody didn't know this already.
The Mitten Nebula is classed as an event because it has an event horizon, the conduit through which all those mittens are forced to pass, whether or not they suffer claustrophobia or a fear of the horizontal. At least it should be node-typed as an event; however, I am being told that it is fiction instead. You be the judge.
