An HPC type PDA, manufactured by Sharp Electronics. While mediocre in every aspect, the HC-4100 model can often be found refurbished for as little as $150, making it an attractive toy.

The standard models have a small QWERTY keyboard and a 640x240 screen. The HC-4100 has a monochrome display and 12 megs of RAM; the HC-4500 and 4600 have more RAM, a color display, and no battery life. There is also the mobilon tripad, a rather strange folding beast...

unfortunately these are Windows CE devices, and thus burdened by a rather mediocre OS and lack of applications (because the devkit is so damned expensive)
