Quintessential Happy Flowers song, about a kid who gives his
cat some
acid, and is repeatedly screaming "MOM! I gave the cat some acid!" and "
Don't tell dad!" The music is distored guitars played
improvisationally.
I'm certainly not saying I think giving the cat some acid is a good idea, and I don't think the Happy Flowers were either--in fact, the song captures the terror any child with a conscience would feel if such a thing happened. Somehow, without otherwise mentioning the cat, the song itself also invokes what must be going through the cat's head if it were in fact tripping.
