When I was younger, so much younger than today,
Monster Munch were made by
Smiths and not
Walkers. They used to taste delicious, be much bigger than they are now and have a wonderful, soft, powdery texture. You could suck them. Now they are tiny, shriveled plasticky things that hurt your teeth and taste vaguely of artificial vinegar.
Even the artwork on the packets has gotten worse. Remember those ads in the 1980's where the pink monster would always be hiding the Monster Munch from his fellows in humourous ways? And how the monsters (proper monsters mind, none of this Pokemon, pro-active, rastafied-by-10% rubbish) would bribe each other with bags of delicious Monster Munch? I must be getting old.
