The N95 Particulate Respirator and Surgical Mask is a 3m health care mask certified for use by the CDC for preventing infection by Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
As a filtering respirator it is designed to block airborne particles ranging in size from 0.1 microns to >10.0 microns.
Due to its intended use as a surgical respirator, it protects the user from infectious bodily fluids, such as splashed blood.
The N95 Surgical Mask is not designed for industrial environments, and cannot be worn for extended periods of time.
Please note that any form of facial hair will compromise the seal between the mask and your face, and may expose you to contaminated air.
