Division III of the NCAA is comprised of 387 institutions and 22 conferences. These schools do not award financial aid on the basis of athletic ability. A Div. III school must sponsor at least four sports for men and four for women. Of these sports at least two for each gender must be a team sport. There must be a sport for each gender played in each of the playing seasons (Fall, Winter, Spring).

While they can not award scholarships on athletic ability they are still able to award them based on need. The school do not receive any money from the NCAA for athletic scholarships. Any full grant-in-aid awarded comes from the school itself.

* Not an NCAA member conference at this time.
