A city in the state of Illinois in the United States of America.
Founded in 1831 by Joseph Naper and Bailey Hobson, Naperville is located 35 miles southwest of Chicago on the DuPage river.
Naperville is the home of North Central College, and was—at one time—the DuPage County seat.
Historically, it was a farming and milling town, but today it is a bustling technological metropolis. The site of Lucent Technologies Bell Labs and the I-88 Technological Corridor, Naperville has emerged as an important municipality in the 21st century.
