Nell's is a once prestigious pub in Manhattan. It was founded in the late 1970's by Little Nell, the woman who played Colombia in the camp classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It its prime, Nell's was a favorite dive for VIP's and wealthy yuppies. At one time, it was invite-only. It is the kind of place where one might enjoy a fine brandy and a cuban cigar with one's izod-clad chums. The lighting is pleasantly dim and candle-like. The chairs are dark polished leather high-backs with those strange button-like embellishments, and the the tables are dark polished walnut. Nell's has since lost its prestige, but it continues to entertain guests. It was featured in the book/movie American Psycho because it was a favorite haunt of its disturbed protagonist.
