An "alpha-state but working" digital video recording program for Brooktree BT8X8 video cards under Linux.
This program is so far the only video recorder program for Linux that I have succeeded to make work! It at least tries to keep the picture and sound in synch, and has been specifically designed for the card I have.
The only problem with the program seems to be that it uses its own video format (based on some sort of JPEG-based format that is incompatible with others...), and all tools to convert videos from that format to another (AVI/MPEG/DivX) seem to Not Compile. =(
