Keep your eye from heel to toe,
the grass is high it's hard to know.
Lump of dirt or dry goose loaf?
As spring thaws earth it may be both.

So wise lovers in rest and play,
stay on covers by ponds in May.
On soft grass beds fed on spring rain,
with clouds in head and lumps decaying.

For a goose's ass will always drop,
munched up grass in slimy slops,
dried in sun it becomes the dirt,
from the goose's bum so comes
the earth.
