The former name of
Webb Interactive Services, Inc., an Internet company based in
Denver, CO, founded in 1994. Originally an Internet access provider and Web site developer, OSS concentrated on development of broadband Internet access and services solutions. OSS acquired
Durand Communications Inc. in 1998, and changed its name after acquiring
netIgnite.
OSS' flagship product at the time of the Durand acquisition was i2u, a full-service solution for cable operators in providing local Internet service and content.
