A 5 gallon (I think) container of
beer, generally made of
cardboard. It is the smallest container you can get before going to individual sized containers, like 32
ounce cans and
40s. I don't even know if you can find these anymore. Come to think of it I don't think I've ever actually seen one.
But how much beer is that? (1 gal=128 ounces)
- 5 gallons (128 ounces/1 gal) = 640 ounces
- 640 ounces (1 beer/12 ounces) = 53 and 1/3 beers
- 53 and 1/3 beers (1 case/24 beers) = 2 and 2/9 cases
