Pasiphae was the beautiful wife of Minos. Minos was an Athenian who passed judgement on sinners in the underworld.
After Minos had a dispute with the Sea-God Poseidon, Pasiphae was made to fall in love with a powerful bull. The result of this love was the fabled Minotaur which ravaged the countryside before being ultimately killed by Theseus.
