A term created by the marketing geniuses at Pepsi. Unforuntatly, it only serves to depress me to know that I am a member of the wrong generation. Just think, I could have gone to Woodstock and had lots of great group sex during the Summer of Love, but instead, I get to drink a carbonated, carcinogenic, overpriced beverage with only one calorie. Oh goodie.

What's unique about the Pepsi Generation is that, being a pure marketing term, it has no basis in reality and therefore defeats time; so the older ones can remember the first time the "pepsi generation" wore bell bottoms. The term has been used by Pepsi throughout the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's.
