A person who is pigeon toed walk with their feet curved inward.

The phenomenon can be viewed almost as soon as child begins to walk, if a parent is aware that they may have passed the trait on to their child.

The question that rests on the mind is how to deal with the problem?

Depending on the age at which it is discovered and the severity of the case the impediment may be altered with the child's donning of rather uncomfortable footwear. Though annoying and uncomfortable they are not painful to wear. The shoes are stiff and hold the child's foot very straight. Brown and very much resembling Forrest Gump's special shoes, they are a very unattractive look for little girls.

If worn for a long enough period of time the feet will appear straight, but it all depends on whether the inborn walking style will reappear.
