Why do I only hear the love of lure,

That this girl is the fairest of them all?

This fleeting entity that is impure

Deserves not praise, but aggravated pall.

The love of women's like the love of game

Since men need not it but they lust for it;

O, to be pampered is their solely aim,

Being foxy dwells in them but not a kit.

Despite this superficiality,

There is no better love than that of lore

Which only we have in reality,

For man is wise and woman is a bore.

No doubt diverse degrees of love exists,

But Socrates agrees, male love subsists.
