Apparently my cat's mother played
fetch. What's more, she played fetch regularly while the
kittens were nursing. As a result, since
only another cat can teach a cat to do anything, my cat plays fetch. This is one of my favorite
pastimes, simply because the
ridiculous spectacle I'm sure we make is entertaining for the audience watching
my own personal sitcom. She'll only fetch a particular type of ball, and she won't fetch if she thinks I'm showing her off, or if I throw too easily for her.
The only
downside is that I wake up in the morning with spit covered fuzzy balls in my bed.
