In Sacramento, California, Highway 80 splits into two parts. One of them is dubbed 'Business 80' and passes through downtown, by the government buildings, etc. The other part of I-80 goes north around the town. This part has no designation other than '80', and if you drive in the left lane coming east, you are dumped on the 'business' 80 which isn't the best way to get through town. Many newcomers to this town have gotten confused by this and gone the wrong way. So, since the opposite of business might be considered to be pleasure, we dubbed the northernmost 80 as 'pleasure 80'. This makes sense, becuase this is the best way to get to Lake Tahoe and Reno, as well as the computer stores, etc. Besides, it just sounds cool.
